In Austria, student accommodation generally ranges between €300 and €500 per month.

Student Dormitory: €300-500 per month
Shared Apartment (WG): €300-450 per month
Small Studio Apartment: €500-600 per month

Food and Groceries (€200-300 per month)

Supermarket Shopping: €150-200 per month
Occasional Dining Out: €50-100 per month
University Mensa Meals: €4-8 per meal

Health Insurance (€73-150 per month)

Public Health Insurance (ÖGK Student Self-Insurance): €73.48 per month (2025).

Tuition Fees

Third-country nationals: €751.92 per semester (2025)
EU Students: €25.20 (ÖH student union fee)

Important: Non-EU Students from low-income countries may be exempt from paying the tuition fees and instead only need to pay the €25.20 ÖH union fee. Please check with the Admissions Office to see whether this applies to you.
