JKU is a compact, campus‑style university with clearly labeled buildings and short walking distances between lecture halls, labs, and services.
The campus map and building overview help locate sites like the Library/Learning Center, Kepler Hall, the TN Tower, and the Science Park

The JKU offers both on-site and virtual campus tours for new students; they can be booked in case there is a group (+5 people + 2 week notice), or you can attend the ones already planned.
You can also have a self-guided campus tour using the provided tools from JKU.
"Where In JKU" is a student‑made web app that helps quickly locate lecture halls and rooms at JKU by providing a simple room search interface. Just open the tool, tap the search button, and look up the room to find where a class or event takes place on campus. It’s commonly recommended by the student community as a handy way to find lecture halls.
At JKU, room abbreviations pair a building code with a room identifier; the prefix tells which building to go to, for example K 041B (Keplergebäude), HT 182E (Lecture Hall Wing), T 005 (TN Tower), HG 101 (Central Lecture Building), or P 013 (Physics).
The building code comes first, matching the campus buildings index; after the space, the numbers/letters indicate the specific room/location in that building (e.g., HS 2 held in HT 182E means Lecture Hall 2 is in the Lecture Hall Wing, room 182E).
Many schedules list both the lecture hall name and its building code, making it easier to navigate on the buildings pages and onsite signage.
If unsure, plug the code into the room‑finder tools or building pages to confirm the exact spot.
